Clean, AC worked well, the only staff that I met was very friendly and helpful. Old-style "Mom and Pop" roadside motel, well maintained, some updates made. If I'm back in the area and need a place to stay, I'll stay there again.
The motel itself may not be as big, nor as up to date, as your actual hotel chains, but it was clean and quiet. The people are super nice people. They make you feel like family. My wife and I went there to start work on her first music album, and the owner and staff went out of their way to make sure she got a good night sleep. We were very pleased with this place. I would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through, and needing a quiet place to sleep.
Johnny, the owner, gave us the suite which was nice and quaint. He personally escorted us to our room. Since I requested a non-smoking room, he brought me a chair and an ashtray so I cld sit comfortably outside while smoking. I never feel like I was in a hotel room. We were gone all day long and back to the room to sleep. We always had fresh towels and the trash taken. Terri, the desk clerk was awesome. She gave us ice cubes from ice trays so we cld have cold beverages. Totally enjoyed the stay.
Nice room very cozy. Not a rowdy place. Quiet and convenient. Not hard on the wallet either
I have known the owner for a while, and if I am able to talk with him when needing a room, Johnny has always been good to me. Tell him, David, the long-haired guy with the pretty little wife whom stayed there for a while sent you. MAYBE it will help.
